Russ Schaffer

I’m a former journalist working as a designer with photography as my main hobby. My career has been dictated by a motivation for storytelling and the medium for that has evolved over time. In eight years as a graphic designer, I’ve worked for all sizes of design teams in a variety of environments and brands and am fluent in most of Adobe’s Creative Cloud.

From Florida to Alabama through Memphis into Chicago, I’ve created designs of all odds and ends both digitally and physically. My range of work includes the draft package for Ja Morant, HUGO BOSS podcast artwork, a Ford F-150 vinyl wrap, commemorative bobblehead packaging, New Jersey DMV billboards, Kroger aisle card advertisements, FedExForum napkin holder branding, 250-page media guides, a poster for Elton John, the ad campaign for the official football of the Super Bowl and tons in-between.

While ad campaigns and branding represent a significant proportion of my day-to-day projects, my hope is my portfolio displays my ability to work across different workplaces and guidelines while adding my own style throughout.
